Edith C. (Moscardelli) Trubiano, age 95, a lifelong Quincy resident, died peacefully, Friday, September 27, 2013, at the Hancock Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in the comfort of her loving daughter, Susan. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Quincy High School. Edith was a homemaker but as a young woman had worked as a hairdresser for many years at the former Marvel Beauty Shop in Quincy Center. She later worked as a bank teller before becoming an accounts payable administrative assistant for the Quincy Housing Authority. She had eleven years of service and retired in 1984. Edith was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Boston Celtics. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and flowers. She was also an excellent bridge player and belonged to several bridge groups. She was a longtime parishioner of Saint John the Baptist parish in Quincy. Beloved wife of the late Adam R. Trubiano, she was the devoted mother of Susan M. Trubiano of Braintree and the late Joyce A. (Trubiano) Wentzell and Richard J. Trubiano. One of four siblings, she was predeceased by Sally Moscardelli, Elio Moscardelli, Louis Moscardelli; and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Monday, Sept. 30, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy, at 10 Oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home Sunday 2-5 p.m. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
