Dorothy (Dottie) Cavins Brown, 89, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at BVH following a short illness.
She was born on November 20, 1918, in Bluffton, Ohio, to Charles and Stella Trout. They had three children.
She worked at Findlay Music Company for 15 years.
In July of 1978, she married Urban Brown, who also preceded her in death on Christmas Day of 1993, after 15 years of marriage.
Dottie was a life-long member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, a member of Crusaders Sunday School class and Martha's Circle.
She was an avid bowler for many years; she loved to read, especially her Bible, and play cards and Bingo with her friends at Grand Court where she lived for the past five years.
She is survived by her children Barbara (Lloyd) Waters of Rome, GA, Janet (Walt) Nuchols of Tipp City, OH, and Bryan V. Cavins of Findlay, OH, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
