Nellie B. Bounds age 94 of Amarillo, former longtime resident of Wellington, died on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in Fairview Cemetery with Ernest McNabb officiating. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.
Nellie was born on January 5, 1920 in Collingsworth County, Alonzo R. and Dewey Long Trimble. She married Buster Bounds on December 14, 1935 in Wellington. He died in 2002.
She was also preceded in death by a sister.
Nellie was an art teacher and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by a daughter Sherry McNabb and her husband Ernest of Amarillo; her son Donivan Bounds and his wife Thersa of Lubbock; a brother Alvin Juno of Lubbock; 3 grandchildren Curtis McNabb, Angela Spaulding, and Quinton McNabb; 7 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
