FARMERSVILLE Velma Earnestine Brandenburg, 96, of Farmersville died Monday. There is a graveside service at 11 a.m. today at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas with Rev. Ed Cole officiating.
She was born Aug. 12, 1903 in Farmersville to Frank and Mary Elizabeth Harris Trimble.
She married Francis Brandenburg and was a homemaker. Mrs. Brandenburg was a member of Cockrell Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters Carolyn Hinton of McKinney and Mary Milburn of Benbrook; a sister, Clara Foley of Farmersville; a brother, Joe Trimble of Dallas; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Fielder-Baker Funeral Home of Farmersville is in charge of arrangements.
