Wenoka Elizabeth Horton, age 89, of Conway, Arkansas (formerly of Marshall, Arkansas) passed from this life on Friday, November 29, 2013 peacefully in the comfort of her home, in the presence of family and friends. She was born March 12,1924 in Marshall to Troy Treat and Clara (Hall) Treat.

Wenoka was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She was a very hospitable person, who enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone. Her kindness and generosity was overflowing. She had a positive influence on those fortunate to cross her path. Although she went home and was reunited with her fisherman, she will be dearly missed. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Vilonia, Arkansas.

Wenoka is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Thelmo Horton, six brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include children: Clara Nell Myatt and husband Daniel of Pearcy, Arkansas; Bette McArthur and husband Foster of Richmond, Texas; Tommy Horton and Donnie Horton, both of Conway, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; one sister, Geneva Massey of Conway, Arkansas; two brothers: Joe Treat of Helena, Arkansas and Jack Treat of Marshall, Arkansas.

Funeral services for Wenoka Horton will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas, with Ministers Chris Treat and Bill Brown officiating.

A brief visitation preceding the service will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery near Marshall, following the service.

Pallbearers will be: Gary Massey, Harvey Treat, Greg Treat, James Troy Treat, Victor Treat, Jr. and Mark Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Bob Treat, Bill Treat, Charles Treat, Ben Treat, Tim Treat, Matt Lea, Bob Ratchford, Larry Richardson and Owen Pool.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Hospice Home Care staff of Conway, and to all her caregivers, especially Lynda Pool.
