Ronald Edward Travis of Hytop passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at his residence. He was 59 years of age.
Mr. Travis is survived by his mother, Ruth Travis of Hytop; son, Jacob Travis of Cleveland, Tenn.; step-daughter, Katelyn Cline of Stevenson; brothers, George (Patricia) Travis of Highland, Ind. and Robert (Barbara) Travis of Battleground, Wa.; sisters, Donna (Gene) Demulc of Alpharetta, Ga., Wanda (Warren) Brandon of Lebanon, Tenn. and Patricia (Douglas) Potter of Scottsboro; and 10 nephews and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Ed" Travis and brother, James Travis.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 2 p.m. from Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Avans officiating. Burial will follow in Travis Cemetery.
