Reese was born in Macon and worked for Truck Pro. He was a hard worker, but enjoyed taking time away to fish. He was predeceased by his father, Reese Claxton Towson, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Janice Towson of Macon; mother, Juanita Towsonof Macon; step daughter, Tracie Weekley of Macon; sisters, Angie Haralson (Ted) and Cindy Brunson (Bruce), both of Forsyth; brother, Les Towson (Lorie) of North Carolina; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was loved and adored as "Pop Pop" by his grandchildren, Dustin Little, Austen Little, and Corey Weekley; and his great grandson, Hunter Spivey.
