Funeral services for Geneva Clair Townsend Bell, 73, of St. Matthews will be held three thirty p.m., Friday, December 3, 2010 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in St. Matthews, SC with the Revs. Robert Altman and Allen Bodiford officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from two p.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday. Memorials may be sent to American Diabetes Association, 17 Executive Park, Suite 115, Atlanta, GA 30329-2012 or American Cancer Society 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790. Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC is assisting the family. Mrs. Bell passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Born in St. Matthews, SC, she was a daughter of the late Baxter Townsend and Mary Lever Townsend. She formerly worked for United Technologies as an assembly operator and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Becky and Brett Bodiford of Williston, Vikki and David Thompson of Denmark; sons, Barry Bell of St. Matthews, Chris Bell of Williston; grandchildren, Joshua, Nicklaus, Jenna Bodiford, Chris Fralix, Tonya and Stacey Bell.
