Mr. Totten was born November 30, 1962, in Olney, the son of Frank and Peggy McDowell Totten. He married Mary Herman December 4, 1982 and she survives.
He was an EMP/Paramedic for Richland Memorial Hospital Ambulance Service in Olney. He was a volunteer for Noble-Wakefield Fire Protection District.
Mr. Totten is survived by his wife; a son, Adam Totten; his parents; and grandparents, Lee and Carmen Totten and Delores McDowell.
He was preceded in death by his grandad, Bob McDowell, his grandmother, Goldie Fulk Ridgely, and a brother, Jim Totten.
Funeral services were held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park in rural Claremont.
