Leroy B. Toon, age 72, died Thursday, July 26, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was born in June 28, 1935 in Cooper, Texas, the oldest of four children of Uless B. and Mattie May (Reid) Toon.

Leroy graduated from Wichita Falls High and then went on to Texas A & M and Midwestern University, playing basketball for both schools.

He was employed by W. C. Norris, Dover Corporation for 36 years as Sales Manager.

He lived in Broken Arrow before moving to Grand Lake full time two years ago.

Leroy was a member of the South Grand Lake Christian Church where he served as Deacon. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

He was predeceased by his parents; and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kenya (Howard) Toon of Langley; and his son, Jason of Dallas, Texas.

The Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2007 at South Grand Lake Christian Church near Langley.

Arrangements are by the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the charity of their choice.
