Betty Mozelle Spray, age 89 of Arlington, passed away suddenly on August 3, 2017. She was born on March 9, 1928 in Buffalo Springs, Texas, the daughter of James Todd and Jewell Jones Todd. Mozelle married Wayne S. Spray, Sr. on March 7, 1958 in Dallas, and he preceded her in death in 2005. Mozelle is survived by her son Wayne S. Spray, Jr. and his wife Sheri; grandchildren Jeremy Spray and wife Jordan, Melinda Engstrom and husband Andrew, Victoria Colston and husband Mitchell; great grandchildren Caleb and Leah Engstrom, Lindsey Colston, and Zeke Spray; and many dear friends. Mozelle was a graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas, and worked as a secretary for ChemCentral until her retirement. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, crocheting infant blankets, and watching Duke and the Dallas Mavs, as well as golf. Mozelle was a member of South Oaks Baptist Church in Arlington, where she was a member of the Toppers senior adults class. Visitation will be Friday, August 4 from 6-8pm at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10am Saturday, August 5 at South Oaks Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Youth Program at South Oaks Arlington Baptist Church or Mission Arlington.
