Mrs. Maud Tippett, wife of George Tippett, died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, at the home of her brother, E.S. Wilson, 80 Poplar avenue, after an illness of several weeks. She was 36 years old.
Mrs. Tippett was a daughter of the late William and Mrs. Martha Wilson of North Carolina, but she had been a resident of this city several years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother, E.S. Wilson of this city and two sisters, Mrs. J.E. Shepherd of Berkley and Mrs. Nettie Williams of Elizabeth City, N.C.
The funeral will be conducted at the home of her brother, 80 Poplar avenue Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. E.T. Dadmun, pastor of Memorial Methodist church and burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
