ADAMS, MARGIE E. (TINGLE), 87, passed away June 4, 2011 at Episcopal Church Home. She was a member of Briargate Presbyterian Church, a Kentucky Colonel, lifetime member of the Churchill Downs Ladies Auxiliary #2921 and the National Home for Children. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Adams. Survivors include her children, Robert "Bob" Adams (Heidi) and Susan Key (Jim); loving companion, Marion Dicken; grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown (Corrie), Anthony Adams (Sharra), Emily Szakmary (Louis), Greg Key (Tina), James P. Key; Meghan Beach, and Korey Beach; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Expressions in her memory may be made to Churchill Downs Ladies Auxiliary #2921, 2902 South 7th Street Road, Louisville, KY 40216.
