Frances Timmins Barth, 94, of Syracuse, passed away at home on Sunday. Born in Syracuse, NY, she graduated from St. Lucy's Academy. She was a longtime communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, where she was involved in many organizations. Frances was also involved in the Everson Museum, but most of all she was a stay-at-home mom to her six children. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob, in 1975. Surviving are two sons, Bob (Patti) of Manlius and Ed of Thailand; four daughters, Peggy (Bob) Hamelin of Charlotte, NC, Ellen (John) Hooker of Lee's Summit, MO, Francie (Jeff) McPhail of Syracuse and Colleen Barth of Syracuse; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three nieces; and a nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Whelan Bros. & Hulchanski Funeral Home, 3700 West Genesee St. Contributions may be made to St. Lucy's Church, 432 Gifford Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.
