Elizabeth V. (Timmins) Balthaser, 90, of Spring Twp., passed away October 13, 2013. She was born May 12, 1923 in Frackville, a daughter of the late LeRoy and Elizabeth (Williams) Timmins. She was the wife of Harold J. Balthaser who passed away February 17, 2012.
Elizabeth was a 1941 graduate of Reading High School. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Gouglersville. Mrs. Balthaser was a member of Order of Eastern Star Reading Chapter #251; Gouglersville Grange #1743 and the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Allentown Chapter #27.
Surviving are two daughters Betsy A. (Balthaser) wife of John A. Althouse of South Heidelberg Twp. and Sally A. (Balthaser) wife of Carmen S. Rolinski of Spring Twp.; two grandchildren Jenny S. (Althouse) wife of Jason M. Wenrich of Julian, PA and Kristen K. Althouse of Boalsburg, PA; a great grandson Jacob L. Wenrich; a step granddaughter Heather A. (Rolinski) wife of Michael Borneman of Spring Twp. and a step great grandson Andrew M. Borneman. She was predeceased by three sisters Mae Moyer, Lila Koller and Anna Herman.
