Maryella (Timmins) Barone, age 73, of Weymouth, formerly of Braintree, died peacefully, Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at South Shore Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boston, raised and educated in Boston schools and was a graduate of the former Cardinal Cushing High School. She had lived in Weymouth for many years, previously in Braintree. Maryella worked for Sigma Instruments, now the Fisher Pierce Company, in HVAC maintenance for over twenty years and retired in 2003. She enjoyed arts and crafts as well as politics. Maryella was devoted to her family. She was the devoted mother of Maryella C. Cryer and her husband Steven of East Bridgewater, Karen L. Campitelli of Weymouth, Anthony Barone III and his wife Maria of Whitman, Edward T. Barone and his wife Melissa of Braintree; loving grandmother of Brian, Catherine, Sean, Darin Jr., Lucianna, Anthony IV, Victoria, Alicia and Miranda; lifelong friend of Robert Derby of Hanson; dear sister of Bertha A. Timmins of Rockland and Muriel J. Timmins of Tucson, Ariz.; aunt of Colman Perkins of Hanson. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School St., Quincy, at 10 Oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
