Moriah Cemetery, Cherry Grove , Hamilton County, Ohio ) had one child, She married him in 1962, Vera was the 7th of 10 children. She graduated from Austinburg High School class of 1939 where she lettered in basketball. Vera was a US Army Veteran and had served in China during WWII. After the war she worked with the Army as a civilian in the office of General MacArthur in Japan. She was a member of the American Legion, VFW and DAV. Vera attended the Point Place United Church of Christ. Her interests included genealogy, gardening, watching NBA basketball games and she was an avid Cleveland Browns Fan, She was creamated and buried in a unmarked grave next to her parents in Plot #11
