90, of River Rd., Central Square, passed away on Friday at Sunnyside Nursing Home. Fred was a native of Greene, NY. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was retired from General Electric Company, where he was a foreman in the television receiver division. Fred was also retired from the Central Square School System, where he worked as an electrician. Fred was active in the Methodist church in Brewerton. For many years, he was a volunteer puppy trainer for the Freedom Guide Dogs for the Blind and trained 16 dogs for them. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Alinor E., and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by three sons, Leslie A. (Kathleen) of Syracuse, William A. (Jobeth) of Murray, KY, and Barr E. of Ithaca; a sister, Edith Kimball of Ft. Collins, CO; a grandson, Jeremy (Inga) of Murray, KY; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Mackenzie; and a stepgreat-grandchild, Tiffany. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 5395 Orangeport Rd., Brewerton. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made in Fred's name to Freedom Guide Dogs for the Blind, 1210 Hardscrabble Rd., Cassville, NY 13318 or to the United Methodist Church, 5395 Orangeport Rd., Brewerton, NY 13029
