Daughter of Col. John W. Tibbatts and Ann Taylor.
Wife of Gen. George Baird Hodge.

"George Baird Hodge, born April 8, 1828; married Keturah Tibbatts, born 1825; daughter of Col. John W. Tibbatts, of Newport, Ky, where the family lived many years. She died 1886. He became a midshipman, U.S. Navy, Dec. 16, 1845, and resigned Jan. 28, 1850. Mr. Hodge was a distinguished general in the Confederate army, and after the war was a State senator to Kentucky some years. A few years before his death he went to Florida, where he became interested in orange-growing. He was a prominent attorney-at-law, and practised at his profession until his death in 1892.
