She had lived in Victoria County since 1951 and was a former Bloomington resident. She was born Feb. 1, 1898, in Red Fork, Okla., the daughter of the late John Lewis and Lottie Hana McClafflin Thornburg.
Mrs. Gentry was a member of the Christian Science Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, Okla.
Colonial Funeral Home will be in charge of local arrangements.
She is survived by a son, Robert Gentry Jr. of Victoria ; and a brother, Homer Thornburg of Fritch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gentry.
