Sarah Louise "Sally" Albretsen passed away Friday, August 27, 2004 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 26, 1938 in Logan, the daughter of LaMar Jay and Mary Adele Sparks Thompson.

On February 9, 1959 she married Jerry Albretsen in Salt Lake City. They were sealed in the Ogden Temple on June 5, 2004.

Sally was a member of the Ogden L.D.S. 62nd Ward where she served as a Primary teacher.

Her number one priority was her family. She loved having her children and grandchildren around her. She always loved tending her grandchildren and especially loved taking them to the movies. She loved camping, doing crafts and especially loved dancing. She learned to belly dance and she and Jerry square danced for over 20 years with the Red Hots Square Dance Club. She loved taking trips to Wendover with her good friend Marge or her family.

She is survived by her husband Jerry; two daughters and two sons; Debbie Bowden, North Ogden; Teresa (Philip) Odekirk, Layton; Jack (Marie) Albretsen, Ogden; Shawn (Colette) Albretsen, Star Valley, WY; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and three sisters; Gordon Thompson, Tremonton; Larry (Darlene) Thompson, Farmington; Lois (Jack) Clark, River Heights; Fay (Dennis) Hughes, Kearns and Becky (Bo) Padgett, West Jordan, UT.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
