Nancy graduated from Ceres High School in 1964.
She was a dedicated employee of the Stanislaus County Sheriffs Department, employed as Records Manager from 1983 until her retirement in 2011.
Her love of her job was only surpassed by her love of animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Terry Thompson.
She is survived by her dog, Murphy, her sisters Karen Forest, Sherrie Walker, and Lynnette Crain. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members, as well as her many dear friends whom meant the world to her.
Memorial services are pending.
Interment will be at Ceres Cemetery, 181 W. Whitmore Ave., Ceres, CA.
