Graveside services were held Monday at Fairview cemetery, Servia, for Frances Edwin Thomas, 74 years old, who died Saturday at the Langer Nursing home, Peru.
The Rev. Earl Knight, pastor of the North Grove United brethren church, officiated. The Laird Funeral home was in charge of services.
Mr. Thomas was born Aug 21, 1888 in Servia, the son of Emanuel and Saloma [Brechner] Thomas. For the last 20 years he has resided at the home of Roy Bowser, Peru R.R. 5.
Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Atterbury and Mrs. George K. Smith, Chicago; Mrs. Ella Hemeimeyer, South Whitley and Mrs. Melvin Frain, Ligonier.
