MONROE, July 4. -- Mrs. Ella Thomas Buckhantz, 72 died in the Morganton Hospital Sunday at 4:45. Born in Monore, July 1, 1883, daughter of the late John and Sarah Elizabeth Redfern Thomas. Funeral services will be held at McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. H. L. Blackwelder. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, I. Buckhantz, two sisters. The family will be at the home of Lee Billingsley at 1219 Charlotte avenue, Monroe.
