Geneva Beryl Barrett 97, Tipton, died at 9:24 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Millers Merry Manor. She was born August 4, 1911 in Goldsmith to Linville & Etta (Foster) Teter and had lived in Windfall for 70 years. On January 21, 1934 she married Ted Barrett and he preceded her in death in February 1986.

Beryl was a homemaker and had worked as a correspondent for the Tipton Tribune. She belonged to the Windfall Christian Church and the Eye-Cue Home Ec Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Judy Roessler and husband Walter, Tennessee, Becky Nash and husband Jerry, Tampa, Florida, and Jane Dell and husband Wayne, Indianapolis; seven grandchildren, David Roessler, Susan Drake, Michael Nash, Mary Lynn Dell, Nancy Dell, Jimmy Dell and Robert Dell. Beryl was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

Her funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 31 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Roudebush presiding. Burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
