Married(2) about 1939 in Harlingen, Cameron, Texas Rowena Clark McCurdy Ellis (her 2nd marriage); born 30 October 1897 in Lockhart, Caldwell, Texas and died 15 December 1973 in Anderson, Madison, Indiana (buried in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, Madison, IN as Ellis)
