Born at Wyke, Yorkshire, England. In 1808 she became the wife of Rev. Chr. Berg, missionary to Antigua and other West Indies islands. Having come to Bethlehem on a furlough, in 1825, her husband died here and she spent the remaining 40 years of her life here in widowhood. Her son Joseph became a prominent minister and professor in the Reformed Church.
