Merrill Curtis Taylor, 87, of Osmond died Aug 3, 1991 while hospitalized.
Funeral services were held Tuesday Aug 6 at the Osmond LDS Ward Chapel. Interment followed in the Afton Cemetery.,
He was born Jan 1, 1904 in Salem, UT to Walter Evan and Zennetta Curtis Taylor. He married Leila R. Taylor July 6, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Merrill spent many of his early years ranching in Nevada before moving to Salt Lake City where he became an accountant for the railroad and state of Utah. Upon his retirement he moved to Star Valley where he bought a ranch and spent many years. He was dearly loved and will be missed.
He is survived by his daughter Diane T. Milne and son Stanford M. Taylor of Osmond, five grandchildren, 12 grandchildren and sister Leola Thurman of Glenns Ferry, ID.
He was preceded in death by his wife Leila R. Taylor, a son Raymond, two brothers and three sisters.
