Gayleen, 43, passed away on March 21, 2012 in her home after a long battle with cancer.

Born to Ralph Howard Warnick and Jolene May Child on July 1, 1968 in SLC, Utah. She was one of eight children, the family was poor, but had love. That was one thing their daddy made sure of…

She married the love of her life, David Leon Taylor. They blended their families together and they became the Taylor Bunch. Gayleen brought Sage and Autumn; Dave brought his two children, Capri and Greg. In 2000 they had a child together, Rylee. Gayleen truly deserves the "Greatest Mom Award". She expressed love, compassion, and truly cared about others despite any struggles of her own. Her sweet spirit radiated to those around her. She loved spending time with her three granddaughters, Paityn, Lucee and Maylee.

She enjoyed fishing and spending time with the family. She did not believe in any political parties, and did not like anyone to tell her how to vote. She voted for who she thought would do the best job. She had a unique sense of humor we all loved. Gayleen had so much to give from her heart. She will be missed by all.

Preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Cindy.

Survived by her husband, David, children, Sage, Autumn (Austin), Capri, Greg and Rylee, siblings; Nita (Barry), Ralph, Sherril, Susan, Marjean, and David. Also by her loving extended family, Greg (Mardean) Taylor, Cindy (Gary) Lehr, Tina (Tommy) Martin, Josh Taylor and Sean Lehr, and many nieces and nephews.

Evening viewing will be held Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, SLC. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at the Valley View 12th Ward, 2125 East Evergreen Ave (3435 South), viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with chapel services to follow at 11:00 a.m., followed by the interment at Elysian Burial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made at any Mountain America Credit Union branch under the Gayleen Taylor Memorial Fund that will be used towards college funds for the children.
