She was a housewife, a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mack Forrest and he died in 1992 and a son Milton Dwayne Forrest.
Betty loved to support the Warren Senior Center, where she was dedicated and active in volunteering. She spent many hours over the years visiting people in the nursing home where she gave of her time freely.
Survivors include her husband Rupert Tate whom she married April 21st, 1996. A daughter Judy Houston and spouse Roger, Rock Springs, AR. A brother Jimmy Wiggins, Warren, AR. A sister Patsy Weeks, Warren, AR. 3 grandchildren Christopher Mack Lovett, Angela Grace Edge and Desiree Leann McCowen. 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services 10:00 AM, Monday, March 6th at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Adam- Singer Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm Sunday, March 5th at Frazer's.
