Dora Bell Capshaw was born in Tennessee Feb. 6, 1872 and died in a Hot Springs hospital June 16, 1953. She was a long time resident near Caddo Gap and had been ill for some time.
Dr. John T. Barr conducted services at the Presbyterian Church at Oak Grove at 2 p.m. June 18 and burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Funeral services was handled by Davis Funeral Home.
She is survived by nine children, Florence Mae Capshaw Davis, William E. Capshaw, Mrs. Arthur (Dollie) Grovier of Glenwood, Julia Ann Capshaw Foley of California, Lillian Bell Capshaw Wood, Emily Louise Capshaw Ferris, Bessie Clarice Capshaw Cobb, Virginia Capshaw Downing and Clemens Henry Capshaw.
