Mr. Taber died at 2:35 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2002, in a Lake Charles hospital.
He was employed by El Paso. He worked in the oil industry for 33 years.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Taber of Gueydan; one son, Neil Gaspard of Gueydan; four daughters, Monique T. Bercier of Cameron, Ginger T. LeBeouf of Lake Charles, Gunilla T. Willson of Grand Lake and Ashley Renee Taber of Gueydan; two brothers, Ernest H. Taber of Lake Arthur and Billy Duhon of Opelousas; and four grandchildren.
