Miss Augusta Thalhammer, 71, died suddenly Friday noon after a heart
attack, at the home of her brother, Charles Thalhammer, in the town of
Liberty.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Berge Funeral
home in Valders, the Rev. Paul Hensel of the Valders Grace Lutheran church
officiating. The body will be brought to Manitowoc for burial in Evergreen
cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Berge Funeral home from 7 o'clock this
evening until the hour of the funeral.
Miss Thalhammer was born on August 3, 1868, in the town of Liberty and lived
in that town all her life. She never married. Her brother, Charles, is the
only immediate survivor.
