She had been in declining health for a number of years. Born in Columbia on April 1, 1875, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H and Elizabeth Webb Swygert. She had lived in Columbia her entire life.
Mrs Green was a member of Main Street Methodist Church and also a member of the Daughters of America.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth H Monteith of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the Dunbar Funeral Home at 4 o'clock this afternoon. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be six nephews, T K Swygert, Marion Swygert, David Y Monteith, Walter S Monteith, John McCabe and Ainsley Wayne.
