Nancy "Willie" Sutton Baker, 77, Columbus, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center in Columbus.
Born, March 6, 1932 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John Loyd Nolan and Martha (Huddleston) Sutton.
Nancy was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Columbus.
She was married to Grover Howard Baker on October 15, 1950 in Madison, Indiana and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1990.
She is survived by four sons, Marvin Baker, Greensburg, John (Edna) Baker, Nevada, Roger (Linda) Baker, Tennessee, Danny (Vicky) Baker, Kentucky; four daughters, Nancy Myers, Monrovia, In., Patricia (Larry) Hudson, Shelbyville, Barbara (Lucky) Fields, Columbus, Cindy Barnhart, Columbus; 24 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one daughter, Jayne Hearth and one son, William L. Baker.
Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Pastor Dwayne Barrows officiating.
Interment will be held in the Sandcreek Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana.
