John, a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, quietly departed this world August 13th.
He was a resident of Ferriday for many years.
He was born April 18, 1920 in Gravely, Arkansas to George and Letha.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jasper, Loyd, Duie, and Bently.
The family would like to thank the ICU nurses and staff at Riverland Hospital for the care they always provided. Special thanks to Ms. Christa with Intensive Home Health Care and Ms. Brenda, both of whom he always spoke highly of and looked forward to their visits.
