June 9th, at the age of 67 years, of L'Anse Mich., beloved father of Arlene ( Charles ) Lennartz of Massachusetts, Gerald ( Marjorie ) Supanich of Illnois, brother of Anton, Paul, William, Micael, Geroge Supanich, Frances Barach, ann Stefonich, Mary Thomas and Helen Goodreau; also survived by 13 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In state at SCHAFF FUNERAL HOME, 5920 W Lincoln Ave., West Allis, Fri. from 4 to 9 p.m. Vigil 8 p.m. Fri. In state at the Wittum Funeral Home, Sun., at L'Anse, Mich. Funeral Mon at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church L'Anse Mich In lieu of flowers contributions to the Cancer Fund appreciated.


Funeral Service Held Monday For N.J. Supanich
Funeral services were held on Monday morning June 14th at nine o'clock in Scared Heart Church for Nicholas J Supanich. 67 US-41 L'Anse. The Rev Fr Thomas Andary officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr Supanich passed away Wednesday morning June 9th at the Doctors' Hospital in Milwaukee Wis.
He was born in Osceola, Mich., Dec 17 1903 and resided in L'Anse from 1918 untill 1926. He then lived in Detorit for a short while before moving to Libertyville Ill where he made is home until a year ago when he returned to L'Anse. Before his retirement he had been employed as a carpenter for the Allis Chalmers Company for 25 years.
Mr Supanich was a member of the Scared Heart Catholic Church of L'Anse.
Surviving are; one daughter Mrs Charles (Arlene) Lennartz of Attlebror Mass; one son Gerald Supanich of Libertyville, Ill four sisters Mrs Rogden (Frances) Barach and Mrs Wallace (Helen) Goodreau both of Milwaukee; Mrs Fred (Ann) Stefonich of West Allis Wis and Mar Norman (Mary) Thomas of Hales Corners, Wis; five brothers Anthony, of Detorit, Paul and William of San Bruno Calif and Michael and George, both of Chcago; 13 garndchildren and several nieces and nephews.
