Agnes Othelia Larson was born in Moe Township, Douglas County, Minnesota on August 14, 1903, the daughter of Erik and Anna (Jonsson) Sundberg. She attended school at Mill Lake District School No. 60.

Agnes was united in marriage to Peter Larson on January 14, 1922, at Svea Lutheran Church of Alexandria. After their marriage they farmed near Lake Miltona until 1971 when Mr. Larson retired and they moved to Alexandria. Mrs. Larson was a member of First Lutheran Church and First Lutheran Church women.

Agnes died suddenly at Douglas County Hospital on Tuesday, January 31, 1984. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Doris Zwieg of Maple Plain, Minnesota; Shirley Larson of Alexandria; Mrs. Leon (Janice) Kalted of Howard Lake, Minnesota; three sons, Daryl and Roger of Rockford, Illinois; Gerald of Minneapolis, Minnesota; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter in 1974, parents, three sisters and five brothers.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, February 4, 1984, at 11:00 a.m., at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Ronald Otterson officiating. Pallbearers were Lyle Larson, Gary Larson, Gordon Larson, Royce Larson, Ray Lindquist and Floyd Foslien. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Holmes City, Minnesota. Services directed by the Alexandria Funeral Home.
