She was born in Rumford on May 27, 1949, a daughter of John J. and Viola B. (Legere) Sullivan.

Joanna was educated in Rumford schools and was a graduate of Stephens High School.

She was employed with Diamond International in Dixfield for many years, and later at Geiger Brothers in Auburn.

Joanna was a resident of Naples for the past 20 years, and was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Windham.

She was a loving, supportive and enthusiastic mother. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her delicious spaghetti sauce and lasagna. Joanna loved the companionship of her friends and especially her cat, Sherri-Jo.

Joanna is survived by her son, Paul J. Sullivan; brother, Richard Sullivan; a sister, Viola Sullivan; two stepbrothers, James Cormier, and Robert Cormier and a stepsister, Elaine Cormier-Rucker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; stepmother, Evelyn Sullivan; and her husband, Daniel LeClair.
