Born June 27, 1904, in Mason County to Eugene and Gertrude Agnew Sullivan, she married Lloyd Athey on Jan. 2, 1923, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Lila Jeanne) Eichelberger of Champaign. She was preceded in death by one brother.
She was a member of Easton United Methodist Church and the Easton Busey Bees. She was a lifetime member of the Home Extension and was a 4-H Leader for more than 50 years.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cain Funeral Home in Mason City. The Rev. Ralph Ward will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to her church or the Mason City Area Nursing Home.
