Rose Marie Powell, 78, of Chattanooga, TN, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 in a local hospital. Mrs. Powell was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a member of Concord Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Pearl Smith, a brother John Sullivan.
Survivors include her husband, Donald H. Powell, two sons, Donald H. Powell, Jr., Ringgold, GA; Mark S. Powell, Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Brenda Gail Powell, San Diego, CA; two brothers, Fred Sullivan, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Thomas Sullivan, Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 11:30 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David King officiating.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7454 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN.
