BELFAST -- Ellen Sullivan Blizzard, 74, 109 Bartlett Avenue, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. The Rev. Harmon Smith, the Rev. Donald Daniels and the Rev. Wayne Goff will officiate. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

Ms. Blizzard was born in Greene County to the late Benjamin Harvey and Minnie Lee Hill Sullivan. She was a member of Fremont Holiness Church.

She is survived by one son, Buck Blizzard and his wife, Jackie, of Pikeville; six daughters, Gayle Peele and her husband, Billy R., of Belfast, Joan Smith and her companion, Glenn Brogden, of Pikeville, Ann Potter and her husband, Charles, of Belfast, Laura Jones and her husband, Wayne, of Pikeville, Billie Jo Nakaahiki and her husband, Troy, of Las Vegas, Nev.. and Tami Hill and her husband, Matt, of Saulston; three brothers, Harvey Sullivan Jr. and his wife, Margaret, of Pikeville, Wayne Sullivan and his wife, Helen, of LaGrange and Charlie Clarence Sullivan and his wife, Sarah, of Portsmouth, Va.; one sister, Dorothy Blizzard and her husband, Dick, of Pikeville; one daughter-in-law, Faye Blizzard of Pikeville; 36 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Dr. Jessie Blackman, Diane, Connie, and Joyce Lanier.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Blizzard was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Hall and Joseph E. Blizzard; one son, Kenneth Blizzard; two brothers, George and Frank Sullivan; and one sister, Ida Hill.

The family will receive friends following the service at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
