Ethel M. "Babe" Styer, 76 yrs., formerly of Narvon, PA, died on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Brethren Village Home, after an illness.
She was born in Paoli, PA on Nov. 19, 1931, the daughter of the late Robert & Ethel (Byrd) Simes. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Styer, who died on May 22, 1993, and C. Donald Styer in 1958.
Babe was a retired seamstress with Churchtown Manufacturing.
She was preceded in death by a son, C. Larry Styer; a daughter, Jackie Fink; a granddaughter; a great grandson; and 4 brothers.
Babe is survived by 4 daughters, Jane S. and her husband, John Bearinger of Reinholds; Donna J. and her husband, Jeffrey Westerhoff of Lancaster; Cheryl A. Styer of Narvon; Janet E. and her husband, Lester Auker of Akron; a son-in- law, Ronald Fink of Narvon; 2 sisters, Laura Simes and Annabel (Sis) Millisock. There are 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 10:30 AM from the Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA. Interment will be private.
