Kim Marjorie Cameron
Kim Marjorie Cameron, age 56, of Laceyville, PA passed away on Friday evening, January 1, 2016 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA., where she had been taken earlier that evening.
Kim was born on August 21, 1959 the daughter of the late Ralph Doswell and Evelyn Stuckey in Brooklyn, NY. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY until moving to Stevensville, PA in 1991. She married Henry Cameron on April 10, 1993 and together they moved to their home in Laceyville in 1993. She worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail handler at the Processing-Distribution Facility in Scranton, PA for over 10 years. Kim was a member of the Braintrim Baptist Church in Laceyville, PA. She was also a member of the LIUNA Mail Handlers Union Local 308. She enjoyed gardening and couponing but most of all she loved watching and raising her grandchildren.

Besides her husband she is survived by her daughters Staff Sergeant (SSG) Kenya Inez Cameron of Fort Bragg, NC; Kawana Nicol Cameron of Atlanta, GA; Kwasia Fray Cameron of Fayetteville, NC; and Sergeant (SGT) LaWanda Finiese Chestnut of Fort Campell, KY. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kasar X.I. Cameron of Laceyville, PA; Kashawn I.M. Cameron of Laceyville, PA; Kamarah S. Cameron-Lezama of O’Fallon, IL; Kaeon A. Cameron of Fayetteville, NC; Kya A. Cameron of Fayetteville, NC; sisters Leola Morgan (Joseph) of Durham, NC; Beatrice Gordon of Greeensboro, NC; Jacqueline Gray of Brooklyn, NY; Rosaline Poyer of Brooklyn, NY; brother Anthony Hooker of California; and many loved special nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Kim is preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

A memorial service for Kim will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 12:00 PM noon at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville, PA with Pastor Richard Camp officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Braintrim Baptist Church, PO Box 281, Laceyville, PA 18623.
