We placed her Infant on her arm,
And laid them here to rest;
This life for her had lost it's charm,
Death was a welcome guest.
A loved one on the other side
Was calling her away;
Waiting to great his early bride,
With us she would not stay.
No sorrow there, no tears, no pain,
Can reach that happy shore;
We part but hope to meet again,
Where loved ones part no more.
