UNION CITY--Mrs. Alma Mendenhall, 73, R. R. 3, Union City, died Saturday afternoon at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio, after an extended illness.

A native of Paulding County, Ohio, she was a resident of the Union City vicinity for about 69 years. She was a member of the Union City EUB Church.

Surviving are her husband, Howard; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Coblentz, Union City; Mrs. Leon Birum, Greenville, Ohio, and Mrs. Betty Simmons, Dayton; three sons, Gerald, Union City, Don and Kenneth, both of R.R. 3, Union City; two sisters, Mrs. Belva Jacobs, R.R. 1, Union City, Mrs. James Monks, R.R. 5, Union City; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fraze and Timmons Funeral Home with Rev. Carl W. Hahn Jr. officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
