A graveside service will be held for Betty Rae Lively, 90, lifelong resident of Bandon at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at the Bandon IOOF Cemetery.
Betty was born June 5, 1921, in Bandon, the daughter of Elgin and Bertha (McMullen) Strader. She died Dec. 10, 2011, in Bandon.
She married Albert Lively Jan. 4, 1941. He preceded her in death June 10, 2001.
Betty spent her time raising her family and tending her flowers. She enjoyed reading, writing letters and family gatherings. She was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers, the Ladies Dew Valley Club and the Bandon Historical Society.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and a great-grandson.
