Janet was born in Portland Oregon. One of five children. Her parents were Verl and Dorothy Stowe. In high school she was chosen to be a high board model for Portland business, Rhodes department store, Janzen and Meier and Franks department stores. She loved music,art and dancing.
She graduated from Portland State with degrees in art and philosophy. Married Terry Grigsby in 1987. Her main hobby was golf. She was member of the Ladies Republican group, Czech society, and friends with Jessie Moore and the elvis group.
She is survived by her husband Terry Grigsby,brothers Brent Stowe,Craig Stowe, and sister Gail Stowe.
