Storm Victims Rites Conducted

Joint funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Robert John Stout of Ballantine, who were found asphyxiated and frozen to death Sunday morning near Harlowton, were conducted Thursday in the Ballantine Congregational Church.
The Rev. Gale Anderson, pastor, officiated.

Mr. Stout, 37, Mrs. Stout, 31 and Ed Schoenfeld, 31, of Lewistown, were found Sunday in a stalled car by a highway clearing crew, victims of the sudden storm that swept down on the state Saturday night.

Hobert B. Brunsvold, accompanied by Mrs. Wiley Rorex, sang "Crossing the Bar" and "Lead Kindly Light".

Pallbearers were Clyde Fleming, Glenn Johannes, Tom Mullowney, George Pue, Frank Sindelar and Dan Van Luchene.

Surviving are six children, his parents, two brothers, three sisters, her father, a brother and a sister.

Burial was in the Pleasantview Cemetery, in Ballantine, MT.
