Hazel E. Hosband, 93, formerly of Tyrone. died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Beverly Healthcare-Hillview, Altoona.
Born Jan. 18, 1906, in Tyrone, she was the daughter of Theodore and Margaret (Hand) Stonebraker. She married Elmer M. Hosband Sept.10, 1924, in Tyrone. He preceded her in death Dec. 6,1984.
Surviving are two daughters, Jane Snyder, Tyrone; and Shirley Teeters, Grazierville; and a son, Robert A. Hosband, Bellemeade. There are 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
One sister, Pauline Miller of Bozeman, Mont., and a brother Lamont Stonebraker of Baden, survive.
Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hosband was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Tyrone; the Tyrone Golden Age Club; and the Woman's Missionary Council.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct.22, at 2 p.m., at the Feller Memorial Home with the Rev. William Glunt officiating. Interment will be made in the Blair Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the memorial home Thursday, from 2 until 4 p.m. and Friday from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
